More human remains have been found in the case of a Toronto man accused of killing men he met on gay dating apps.
The remains are believed to be those of the eighth victim of Canadian, Bruce McArthur and were found in a ravine behind his some where he kept stuff for his landscaping business on 5th July. It’s believed the land belonged to one of McArthur’s former clients where they allowed him to store equipment and supplies for his business.
The remains of seven victims were found inside planters at a whome whose gardens were maintained by McArthur.
Police heave searched over 100 sites throughout Toronto but all the remains have been located at the same home in Toronto’s Leaside neighbourhood.
Detective Sgt. Hank Idsinga told reporters that the remains were found with the help of K-9 units. He said, “We haven’t identified what the remains are or who they belonged to.”
66-year-old McArthur has been charged with eight murders and is due back in court at the end of July.
Project Houston is the name of the Toronto Police Service investigation into the disappearances of men between 2010 & 2017 in Toronto. This led to Project Prism and the arrest of McArthur on suspicion of being the serial killer responsible.
